As part of MP Pumps continuing effort to provide new products, we are happy to announce that the FRX 75 P is now ready for production.  The FRX 75 P provides an ideal choice for those tough transfer applications in the marine, agricultural, commercial, and industrial industries.

The FRX 75 P utilizes a Polypheneylene Sulfide (Ryton) or PPS cover and housing. This PPS material cover and housing are used in conjunction with a 316 SS impeller to provide outstanding resistance in a wide variety of chemical applications.  The FRX 75 P is offered with 1” hose connections as well as a carbon/ceramic/Viton mechanical seal. The pump is capable of handling fluid temperatures of up to 220° F and has a maximum pressure rating of 30 psi.

The FRX 75 P is offered with 115/230 VAC, 12 VDC, and 24VDC electric motors.  Marine ignition protected motors are also available.  The pump can also be rotated in 90° increments.

MP Pumps has now expanded its high performance FRX 75 pump models to include the new FRX 75 H pump.  This 316 SS pump has 1” hose connections that provide an alternative to hose barbs threaded into the standard ¾” NPT connections. This pump is ideal for use in the marine, agricultural, commercial, and industrial markets for transfer applications of compatible fluids.

These 316 SS units offer superior corrosion resistance for the transfer of chemical compounds. The standard units are equipped with carbon/ceramic/Viton bellows mechanical seal. Both AC and DC motors are offered as well as an optional marine ignition proof motor. As an added measure of versatility the pump can be rotated in 90° increments. 

The FRX 75 H is another example of MP Pumps continuing to invest in new product releases for our product line as we strive to offer more quality products aimed at increasing applications and opportunities for our valued customers.

We are pleased to announce the release of our new MP Pumps, Inc. Petroleum Pumps brochure. MP has combined both the self-priming and end suction Petromaxx Series information into one full color, 10-page brochure.

This sales brochure contains a brief description of the Petrolmaxx Series, product description tables, and cutaway view of the pump characteristics as well as performance curves.  An explanation of the three specific product groups our Petrolmaxx products are divided into is given for better understanding of how these pumps are meant to be positioned within the petroleum market.

This brochure can be found by going to the literature section of our website and choosing the “Petroleum Pumps” listing under the “Catalog” section.  This brochure is the perfect handout to compliment your sales effort in the petroleum pump market.  Brochures are available by ordering Form 8169.

MP Pumps, Inc. is proud to announce the winner of our “Search for the Oldest Operating MP Pump Contest”.  Our winner was Pat S. from Idaho and his 1961 MP Pumps aluminum Flomax® that is close coupled to a Briggs & Stratton engine. Pat uses his Flomax® pump for general purpose duties on his farm.  He says he plans on using his prize money to purchase a new Flomax® with a Honda engine. We would like to thank Pat as well as everyone else for their interest and participation in our contest.

The P-MAX is a self-priming centrifugal pump, capable of creating a vacuum sufficient to lift liquids up to 20 feet above of the fluid source.  Once primed, the pump’s built in flapper valve will maintain a full column of liquid in the suction line. The P-MAX comes equipped with 2” suction and discharge ports.  The pumps are constructed of a rugged polyester resin capable of handling most of your fluid handling needs.  The pumps are supplied with a carbon/ceramic/Buna N mechanical seals, (2) 2” NPT adapters, (2) 2” hose adapters, band clamps, and a suction strainer. 

Powered by an EPA and CARB certified 6.5 HP engine, the P-MAX is capable of providing flows up to 180 GPM and a maximum discharge head of 113’.  At 51 pounds and housed in a convenient, easy access role cage, the P-MAX is portable and easily transferred for application use.

The P-MAX is an excellent choice for use in the agricultural, commercial, industrial, and marine markets for applications such as: tank-filling, de-watering, flood control, and much more.

For 70 years MP Pumps, Inc. has been supplying high quality centrifugal pumps to the marine industry.  Several of our Flomax and HHLF models have been ABS Type Approved and we are now proud to announce that we have expanded the number of models that will carry this designation. 

As of September 2012, the Flomax 5, Flomax 10, and HHLF HO have been accepted by ABS and will be added to our ABS Type Approved certificate.  They will join the Flomax 8, Flomax 15, Flomax 30, Flomax 40, and the HHLF series in our ABS line-up. The addition of these models will allow MP Pumps, Inc. to better serve the marine industry with a wider range of flow and pressure capabilities.
