Product Overview

The Chemflo® 3 Pedestal is a robust 2" × 1.5" end-suction stainless-steel centrifugal pump designed for long-coupled configurations. All wetted components are manufactured from 316 investment‑cast stainless steel, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance when handling aggressive chemical compounds. This makes it an ideal choice for chemical transfer, industrial processing systems, and demanding fluid‑circulation tasks.

Its redesigned housing accommodates both semi‑open and enclosed impellers. The enclosed 5.25" (133.35 mm) impeller supplied with this model maximizes hydraulic efficiency, making it optimal for applications where solids are minimal—allowing passage of particles up to 0.25" in diameter. Multiple seal material combinations are available, including a standard carbon/ceramic/Viton mechanical seal, enabling reliable performance in diverse chemical and temperature conditions.

The Chemflo® 3 Pedestal version is intended for long‑coupling and integration with external drive systems. For customers requiring alternative drive options, the broader Chemflo® 3 lineup supports close‑coupled electric motor mounts (56C, 145TC, 184C), the MP Hy-Speed hydraulic motor, and PumPak® configurations. This design adaptability allows engineers and OEMs to standardize on a single hydraulic platform across various installations.

Performance capabilities include a maximum flow of 160 GPM (36 m³/h) and a maximum total dynamic head of 98 ft (29.9 m), making the pump suitable for moderate‑pressure and high‑flow transfer duties. Its stainless-steel construction, precision-cast impeller geometry, and long-coupled pedestal mounting deliver reliable operation, serviceability, and long mechanical life.
