CHEMFLO® 4 - Pedestal | Chemical Pump

The ChemFlo® 4 Pedestal centrifugal pump is engineered for demanding applications that require exceptional corrosion resistance, reliable hydraulic performance, and robust mechanical durability. Built entirely from high‑grade 316 investment‑cast stainless steel, it delivers long‑term operational stability in commercial, industrial, and marine environments. Designed as a pedestal‑mounted pump end, it offers full compatibility with 56C and 145TC electric motors, ensuring flexible integration into new or existing pump systems.

Product Overview

The ChemFlo® 4 Pedestal is part of the ChemFlo® stainless steel pump family, optimized for handling chemically aggressive fluids and process liquids requiring both mechanical resilience and hydraulic efficiency. Its 2" × 1‑1/2" NPT suction/discharge configuration ensures reliable flow handling, while the enclosed impeller design enhances efficiency and pressure capability. Constructed from corrosion‑resistant 316 stainless steel – including its semi‑open 4.50" (114.3 mm) impeller – it is well‑suited for environments where exposure to chemicals, moisture, or saltwater may compromise standard metallic pumps.

The pump operates at flow rates up to 180 GPM (41 m³/h) with heads reaching 80 ft (24.4 m), making it a strong choice for transfer, circulation, and general process applications. A standard Type 2100 carbon/ceramic/Viton mechanical seal provides robust leakage control, while specialized seal configurations are available for liquids with unique chemical or thermal properties. Multiple drive configurations – including pedestal mount, hydraulic drive, close‑coupled 56C and 145TC options, and bare PumpPak® – allow seamless integration into complex system designs.
