Product Overview

The ChemFlo® 5 CC is part of the ChemFlo® stainless steel centrifugal pump series, designed for superior performance in applications where stainless steel construction is critical. The pump features an enclosed 6.18" (156.97 mm) impeller engineered to deliver higher head pressures and improved hydraulic efficiency compared to standard semi-open impeller designs. This advanced impeller geometry allows the pump to achieve flow rates up to 300 GPM (68.1 m³/h) and heads up to 157 ft (48 m), making it suitable for both high-flow and high-pressure applications.

The pump’s wet-end components are fully constructed from 316 stainless steel, offering enhanced resistance to corrosive fluids, chlorides, and harsh washdown environments. Mechanical seal flexibility is built into the design, with the standard carbon/ceramic/Viton seal complemented by multiple optional material configurations to match specific media and temperature requirements.

The ChemFlo® 5 CC is available in several drive configurations – including 145TC, 184TC, and 215TC close-coupled motors, pedestal arrangements, and PumPAK® (pump-end only) options. This versatility allows easy integration into new installations or direct replacement of competing units. The drive sleeve, also crafted from 316 stainless steel, ensures long-term protection of the shaft under continuous-duty operation.

Engineered pathways allow for optional tapped ports for recirculation or seal flushing, making the pump adaptable to elevated process demands such as maintaining seal lubrication or controlling temperature during operation. Additional hydraulic motor–driven and shaft-driven pedestal options extend its applicability across non-electric power systems.
