Product Overview
The ChemFlo® 8 CC belongs to MP Pumps’ stainless steel ChemFlo® series, engineered to deliver superior efficiency and longevity in corrosive or sanitary environments. Its enclosed 8-inch impeller is designed to achieve significantly higher heads and improved hydraulic performance compared to semi-open alternatives. Multiple impeller trims allow precise matching of the pump’s performance curve to the application, ensuring optimal flow and energy consumption.
The wetted components – including the casing, impeller, and drive sleeve – are manufactured from investment‑cast 316 stainless steel, providing excellent resistance against chlorides, harsh chemicals, and thermal cycling. The pump supports flows up to 350 GPM (79.5 m³/h) and total dynamic heads reaching 290 feet (88 m), making it suitable for medium‑to‑high‑demand transfer systems.
A standard Type 2100 mechanical seal with carbon/ceramic/Viton materials ensures reliable sealing under a wide range of temperatures and chemical exposures. Multiple optional seal configurations further extend compatibility with more aggressive fluids.
The ChemFlo® 8 CC is available as a complete close‑coupled pump or as a PumPAK® configuration for custom motor integration. Supported motor frames include 184TC, 215TC, 256TC, 284TSC, and 286TSC, offering flexibility for various power requirements up to 30 HP (22 kW).
Optional features include tapped ports for seal flush or recirculation, hydraulic motor‑driven pedestal versions, and shaft‑driven pedestals for specialty installations. Together, these elements make the ChemFlo® 8 CC a robust and adaptable pump for demanding fluid‑handling systems.
