CHEMFLO® 8 - Pedestal | Chemical Pump

The ChemFlo® 8 Pedestal centrifugal pump is engineered for demanding industrial, commercial, agricultural, and marine applications requiring reliable performance and superior corrosion resistance. Built from high‑grade 316 investment‑cast stainless steel, it offers robust durability and exceptional hydraulic performance, making it an ideal solution for handling a wide range of chemical and process fluids.

Product Overview

The ChemFlo® 8 Pedestal pump features a heavy‑duty 3" x 1.5" end‑suction design with ANSI 150# flanges for secure and industry‑standard pipe connections. At the heart of the pump is an 8.0" enclosed impeller, precision‑cast from 316 stainless steel to deliver higher heads, improved hydraulic efficiency, and stable performance across varying duty points. The enclosed impeller design allows the pump to reach capacities up to 350 GPM (79.5 m³/h) and heads up to 290 feet (88 m), enabling it to serve both low‑viscosity chemical transfer and general-purpose fluid movement applications.

The pedestal configuration provides installation flexibility and allows integration with multiple motor frame sizes including 184TC, 215TC, 256TC, 284TSC, and 286TSC. For applications requiring custom mounting, a PumPAK® version is available for pairing with user‑supplied motors. A hydraulic drive option is also offered for mobile or off‑grid operations.

The pump is equipped with a standard Type 2100 mechanical seal constructed of carbon, ceramic, and Viton components. A variety of special seal materials are available to accommodate more aggressive chemicals, high temperatures, or unique system requirements. The drive sleeve, also made of 316 stainless steel, adds another layer of corrosion protection and mechanical robustness, ensuring extended service life in chemically harsh environments.

Every wetted component is manufactured from investment‑cast 316 stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to corrosive fluids, making the ChemFlo® 8 a dependable solution in process industries, marine environments, fertilizer handling, washdown systems, and OEM equipment.
