CHEMFLO® 9 - Pedestal | Chemical Pump

The ChemFlo® 9 Pedestal pump utilizes an enclosed 9.95-inch (252.7 mm) impeller, enabling it to achieve remarkably high heads and improved efficiency compared to traditional semi‑open impeller designs. This hydraulic configuration allows the pump to deliver flow rates up to 270 GPM (61 m³/h) and total dynamic head capabilities reaching 460 ft (140 m), making it suitable for both high‑volume and high‑pressure applications.

All wetted components – including the impeller, casing, and drive sleeve – are produced from investment‑cast 316 stainless steel. This material choice ensures superior corrosion resistance, particularly when handling aggressive chemicals, saline fluids, and other corrosive mixtures. Multiple mechanical seal configurations are available, allowing customization to specific media and operating conditions. The pump is supplied standard with a carbon/ceramic/Viton mechanical seal, with optional special‑material seals available for specialized applications.

The pedestal design offers outstanding installation flexibility. The ChemFlo® 9 pump end (PumPAK®) is compatible with a broad range of electric motors, including 184TC, 215TC, 256TC, 284TSC, and 286TSC frame sizes. For installations requiring a 145TC motor, a motor base is necessary. This interchangeability supports seamless integration into new or existing systems, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.
