Product Overview

The HTO 120 is a 2" x 1‑1/2" end‑suction centrifugal pump constructed from durable ductile iron, providing excellent strength and resilience under extreme thermal and mechanical stress. It features a precision‑cast, enclosed steel impeller with a 5.96" (151.38 mm) diameter, engineered to deliver efficient flow characteristics and stable performance across a wide temperature range.

The pump’s thermal‑handling capability is one of its defining advantages. With a maximum fluid temperature rating of 650°F (343°C), the HTO 120 is optimized for continuous operation in high‑temperature heat transfer systems. Its advanced seal protection system reduces seal chamber temperature through effective ambient air cooling, significantly extending mechanical seal life. The sealing configuration includes carbon, silicon carbide, and Viton components–materials selected for their high‑temperature chemical resistance and durability.

Flow rates reach up to 195 GPM (44.3 m³/h), with head capabilities up to 135 ft (41 m), making the HTO 120 versatile across a variety of process conditions. Available in multiple drive configurations–including close‑coupled (145TC, 184C), pedestal mount, and PumPAK® (pump only)–it integrates easily into new systems or drop‑in replacements.

A hardened 303 stainless steel drive sleeve delivers excellent wear resistance and protects critical rotating elements. Combined with MP Pumps’ robust engineering standards, the HTO 120 ensures predictable performance, high energy efficiency, and long-term operational reliability even in aggressive thermal environments.
