The FLOMAX 15 316 SS Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump is a high-performance pump designed to meet the rigorous demands of various industrial, agricultural, marine, and OEM applications. This pump is engineered with precision and built from 316 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion and wear. Its self-priming capability allows it to create a vacuum sufficient to lift liquids from heights up to 25 feet above the source, making it ideal for challenging environments where reliable performance is crucial.
Once primed, the pump's built-in flapper valve maintains a full column of liquid in the suction line, ensuring consistent operation. The FLOMAX 15 316 SS PumPAK® is a fully assembled and run-tested pump end that can be easily coupled to a variety of drivers, including hydraulic motors, 184TC and 215C frame motors, and gas engines. Additionally, a bearing pedestal is available for T-frame motor or belt drive configurations, providing flexibility in installation.
This pump features a 3" NPT 150# class flat flange on the suction side, a Viton flapper, and a 3" SAE 4-bolt flat face discharge connection. The stainless steel drive sleeve and fasteners, along with the renewable wear plate and semi-open dynamically balanced impeller, contribute to the pump's robust construction and reliable performance. Optional features include a 5-blade stainless steel impeller and seals for abrasive and/or corrosive services, catering to specific application needs.
