The FLOMAX® 8 Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump is a versatile and robust solution designed to meet the demanding needs of various industries, including agriculture, industrial, marine, and OEM applications. This pump is engineered to create a vacuum sufficient to lift liquids from heights up to 25 feet (7.6 m) above the source, ensuring efficient and reliable operation even in challenging environments.
Once primed, the built-in flapper valve maintains a full column of liquid in the suction line, allowing for continuous and uninterrupted operation. The FLOMAX® 8 PumPAK® is a fully assembled and run-tested pump end that can be easily coupled to a variety of drivers, such as hydraulic motors, 56C and 145TC frame motors, and gas engines. Additionally, a bearing pedestal is available for T-frame motor or belt drive configurations, providing flexibility in installation and use.
The pump features a renewable wear plate, which extends the life of the pump by allowing easy replacement of worn components. The stainless steel drive sleeve and fasteners provide durability and resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-term reliability. The semi-open dynamically balanced impeller enhances performance by reducing vibration and wear, contributing to the pump's efficiency and longevity.
