Technical Overview
The Petroleum 120 features a semi‑open impeller optimized for efficient movement of clean petroleum liquids. Its hydraulic design supports flows up to 200 GPM (45.4 m³/h) and heads up to 135 ft (41 m), making it suitable for transfer, circulation, and loading duties. The pump includes 2" x 1½" 150‑lb flanged connections, enabling straightforward integration with standard piping systems.
The model is available as a close‑coupled unit for 184TC frame motors, a pedestal configuration, or a PumPAK® option without motor for OEM flexibility. The casing can be rotated in 90° increments, allowing discharge positioning to match installation requirements.
Material and sealing combinations are tailored to each model:
- SE 120: Cast‑iron semi‑open impeller; carbon/silicon‑carbide/Viton® seal; suitable for ethanol and E85.
- SG 120: Aluminum semi‑open impeller; carbon/silicon‑carbide/Viton® seal; suited for gasoline, kerosene, avgas, and jet fuel.
- SO 120: Cast‑iron semi‑open impeller; carbon/ni‑resist/Viton® seal; ideal for biodiesel, fuel oil, and diesel.
Motor options include explosion‑proof Class I, Group D on SE and SG models, and TEFC for the SO model. With power requirements up to 7.5 hp (5.5 kW), the pump provides a robust performance envelope across operational ranges.
