PETROLEUM 60 | S Series | End Suction Centrifugal Pump (1 1/4" X 1")

The MP Pumps Petroleum 60 series is a high‑efficiency end‑suction centrifugal pump line designed for reliable transfer of petroleum‑based liquids. Created to support industrial, agricultural, marine, and OEM applications, the pump offers strong performance, durability, and compatibility with a broad range of fuels. The series includes three targeted models – SE, SG, and SO – each engineered for specific fluid types such as ethanol blends, gasoline derivatives, and diesel fuels.

Product Description

The Petroleum 60 series is built for demanding petroleum‑handling environments, offering flow rates up to 65 GPM (14.73 m³/h) and maximum head capability of 115 ft (35 m). This combination ensures fast, smooth, and efficient transfer of low‑viscosity fuels. The pump is compatible with 56C and 145TC close‑coupled electric motors, as well as multiple hydraulic motor displacements, making it versatile for both fixed installations and mobile systems.

Each of the three models features materials and sealing systems designed for specific fluid compatibility:

  • SE 60: Enclosed cast‑iron impeller, Type 2 Viton/carbon/silicon‑carbide mechanical seal; compatible with Ethanol & E85.
  • SG 60: Enclosed aluminum impeller, Type 2 Viton/carbon/silicon‑carbide seal; compatible with Gasoline, Avgas, Kerosene, Jet A/8.
  • SO 60: Enclosed cast‑iron impeller, Type 21 Viton/carbon/niresist seal; compatible with Biodiesel, Fuel Oil & Diesel. The pump can be supplied in a PumPAK® configuration (pump without motor), enabling easy integration into OEM systems. The SE and SG models can be equipped with explosion‑proof motors (Class 1 Group D), while the SO version features a TEFC motor option for environments where flammable vapors are not present.
