HTW 300 | Hot Water Pump | Tempuflo Series

The MP Pumps HTW 300 is a uniquely engineered, high‑temperature centrifugal pump designed specifically for demanding industrial process applications. Optimized for hot water and various glycol‑based heat‑transfer fluids, it delivers reliable performance, long seal life and exceptional thermal stability – making it the ideal choice for environments with elevated operating temperatures.

Product Overview

The HTW 300 is part of the Tempuflo® HTW Series, featuring patented pump technology engineered to handle process temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) while maintaining a significantly reduced seal chamber temperature. Its innovative isolated seal chamber is effectively cooled through a dual‑system approach: an integrated cooling loop heat exchanger and a fan clamp assembly that uses the airflow generated by a standard NEMA C‑Face motor. This ensures the seal cavity never exceeds 170°F (77°C), even while handling high‑temperature process media.

The pump is designed as a 3" x 2‑1/2" end‑suction centrifugal unit, built from durable ductile iron to withstand harsh operating conditions. An enclosed 7.0" cast iron impeller provides efficient hydraulic performance, supporting flow rates up to 500 GPM (113.6 m³/h) and heads up to 190 ft (58 m).

Depending on installation needs, the discharge port can be supplied in either horizontal or vertical orientation. The unit is compatible with 215TC close‑coupled motors up to 20 HP (14.9 kW), ensuring flexibility across various industrial and OEM applications. With a maximum fluid temperature rating of 650°F (343°C), the HTW 300 is engineered for high‑temperature systems where safety, uptime, and longevity are critical.
