Product Overview

The FLOMAX® 10 Self‑Priming Centrifugal Pump combines robust engineering with advanced hydraulic design to deliver exceptional pumping performance. The unit is capable of lifting liquids from depths of up to 25 ft (7.6 m) after initial priming, thanks to its integrated flapper valve, which retains the liquid column inside the suction line. This ensures immediate and uninterrupted operation without the need for repeated priming cycles.

Its semi-open 6.0" (152.4 mm) impeller allows efficient handling of liquids containing solids up to 0.625" (15.9 mm), while maintaining superior hydraulic performance. Engineered with durable construction materials – including bronze and cast iron – the pump is suitable for both corrosive and abrasive environments.

The FLOMAX® 10 is available as a PumPAK® (pump end only), enabling seamless integration with multiple drive configurations. Compatible drive options include hydraulic motors, 182TC/184TC frame electric motors, gasoline engines from 5.5 HP to 13 HP, and pedestal-mounted setups for belt‑driven applications. This flexibility makes the unit adaptable to countless installation scenarios.

Standard sealing consists of carbon/ceramic/Viton, while a range of special seal combinations –  including double‑seal arrangements for dry‑run applications – are available to meet specialized operational requirements. Built to meet rigorous marine and industrial standards, the FLOMAX® 10 is ABS Type Approved, confirming its suitability for critical marine operations.

With flow rates reaching 225 GPM (51.1 m³/h) and maximum heads up to 145 ft (44.2 m), the FLOMAX® 10 delivers the high-efficiency performance needed for continuous-duty systems in transfer, loading, circulation, and general service pumping.
