Product Overview

The FLOMAX® 15 is a 3" x 3" self‑priming centrifugal pump capable of generating a powerful vacuum that lifts fluids from depths of up to 25 ft (7.6 m), ensuring rapid and consistent priming performance. Once primed, a robust internal flapper valve maintains a fully charged suction line, preventing loss of prime and supporting continuous duty cycles. Its semi‑open impeller design – dynamically balanced for smooth operation – supports solids handling up to 0.625" (15.9 mm), making the unit suitable for demanding applications involving suspended particulates.

The pump is manufactured in premium-grade materials including 316 stainless steel, bronze, and cast iron, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, long service life, and compatibility with a variety of liquids. A renewable wear plate and stainless‑steel drive sleeve further extend durability while simplifying long‑term maintenance. All fasteners are corrosion‑resistant stainless steel, reinforcing the pump’s suitability for chemically and environmentally aggressive operating conditions.

The FLOMAX® 15 delivers flow rates up to 320 GPM (72.7 m³/h) and heads reaching 145 ft (44.2 m), enabling efficient transfer, circulation, and loading/unloading tasks across multiple industries. Optional 5‑blade impellers allow for higher flow requirements, while multiple seal configurations – including carbon/ceramic/Viton and specialty materials – provide compatibility with abrasive, hot, or chemically aggressive liquids. The pump is available in several drive configurations, including close‑coupled motor mounts (184TC and 215C), engine‑driven designs ranging from 5.5 HP to 13 HP, pedestal mounts, and the PumPAK® configuration for integration with existing drive systems. This modularity makes the FLOMAX® 15 an adaptable solution for custom installations and OEM applications. The ABS Type Approval certification underscores the unit’s quality, reliability, and suitability for marine‑classified applications.
