Technical Product Description
The Petroleum 30 pumps utilize a self‑priming centrifugal design capable of delivering up to 500 GPM (113.6 m³/h) with heads reaching 190 ft (58 m). This performance makes them suitable for a wide range of fuel‑transfer and fluid‑handling applications across industrial, agricultural, marine, and OEM sectors.
A semi‑open, dynamically balanced impeller ensures stable hydraulic performance while allowing the passage of small solids. Each model version uses materials tailored to its compatible media:
- PE: For ethanol and E85 fuels, optional 316 stainless‑steel impeller
- PG: For gasoline, kerosene, avgas, and jet fuels, optional aluminum impeller
- PO: For biodiesel, fuel oil, and diesel
Mechanical seals are engineered to match the demands of each fluid type, using combinations of carbon, silicon carbide, Ni‑Resist, and Viton.
The Petroleum 30 series supports many installation setups. The PumPAK® configuration allows coupling with hydraulic motors, multiple TC‑frame electric motors (215TC, 254TC, 256TC, 284TSC, 286TSC), and gas engines. A bearing pedestal is available for T‑frame or belt‑drive assemblies. Explosion‑proof configurations are available for the PE and PG models, while the PO model uses a TEFC motor option.
Standard durability components include stainless‑steel fasteners, a stainless‑steel drive sleeve, and a renewable wear plate that reduces long‑term maintenance needs.
