PETROLEUM 300 | S Series | End Suction Centrifugal Pump (3" x 2-1/2")

The MP Pumps Petroleum 300 Series is engineered for reliable and high‑efficiency transfer of petroleum‑based liquids across industrial, agricultural, and marine applications. Available in three specialized models – SE, SG, and SO – the pump series ensures precise compatibility with different fuel types, from ethanol to diesel. Its rugged construction, configurable rotation, and flexible mounting options make it a versatile solution for demanding fluid‑handling environments

Product Description

The Petroleum 300 is a 3" x 2½" end‑suction centrifugal pump designed for optimal hydraulic performance and dependable operation in systems handling refined fuels and light‑viscosity liquids. Each variant within the series is purpose‑built to match specific media requirements:

  • SE 300: Constructed for ethanol and E85 applications, featuring enclosed cast‑iron impellers and Type 2 Viton/carbon/silicon carbide/SS mechanical seals engineered to withstand highly corrosive alcohol‑based fuels.
  • SG 300: Optimized for gasoline, kerosene, avgas, and jet fuels. Its enclosed aluminum impeller minimizes spark risk while ensuring efficient flow characteristics, paired with Type 2 mechanical seals using robust Viton and silicon carbide components.
  • SO 300: Dedicated to biodiesel, fuel oil, and diesel handling, equipped with a cast‑iron enclosed impeller and Type 21 Viton/carbon/niresist/SS seal for enhanced abrasion and chemical resistance.

All models support electric motor compatibility with 215JP and 256JP frames, delivered as close‑coupled assemblies, pedestal configurations, or PumPAK® versions without a motor. The pump's rotation can be reconfigured at 90° intervals, enabling seamless integration into different piping arrangements.

With flow capabilities reaching 540 GPM (122.6 m³/h) and heads up to 190 ft (58 m), the Petroleum 300 ensures reliable performance in continuous‑duty operations. Explosion‑proof options are available for SE and SG models, aligning with Class I Group D hazardous location requirements, while the SO model is supplied in a TEFC configuration for sealed motor protection.
