The FLOMAX 35 SS is designed as a self‑priming centrifugal pump capable of achieving rapid and consistent priming even under challenging suction conditions. Its 4" NPT suction flange and 3" ANSI 150# discharge flange facilitate high-volume fluid handling with minimal flow restriction, enabling flow capacities up to 500 GPM.
The pump casing and impeller are made of premium 316 stainless steel, providing outstanding resistance to corrosive chemicals and harsh environmental exposure. The semi‑open, dynamically balanced impeller ensures smooth hydraulic performance, reduced vibration and lower wear, contributing to the pump’s long service life.
A standard mechanical seal – constructed from carbon, ceramic, Viton and stainless steel – delivers dependable sealing performance under elevated temperatures and aggressive media. Optional sealing configurations allow adaptation to more specialized operating environments.
A key advantage of the FLOMAX 35 SS is its installation flexibility. It can be configured for close‑coupled mounting to NEMA “C” frame electric motors, engine drive systems or pedestal‑mounted setups. The PumpPak configuration offers a preassembled pumping unit designed for quick attachment to standard motors, minimizing installation time and downtime in the field.
